This device is a PoE balun that allows you to combine the signal from two cameras to a switch using a single network cable. It’s used to place two 10/100 Ethernet circuits on a long-lasting Ethernet cable with or without PoE ports. It supports 2 individual data speed connections of 10/100 and up to 30W for each one (60 watts total) over Cat.6. The end with two RJ45 connectors is connected to the switch (one connector in the PoE slot and the other in the LAN slot). Using a UTP cable, preferably Cat.6, it’s connected to the other end by transferring power and data. The other end has an RJ45 connector that can be directly connected to a camera, Wi-Fi… and the female end can also be directly connected to a camera or a UTP cable to extend the connection and connect it to a camera located at a more distant point.
